Lee Smith's proposal to Amelia Kriss
My friend Melisa, and muse for Melisa Tamerlane's character, shared this video with me of her friends marriage proposal and I knew I had to use it for Lee and Amelia in "Deceptive Cadence" - Finding Harmony Series, Book 3. John graciously allowed me to put his touching and romantic proposal into words and even share the link to the video.
I dare you not to cry when you watch!
"Song for Athene"
by John Tavener
In "Catching My Heart" - Grand Slam Trilogy, Book 1, Nicole listens to a song from the funeral of Princess Diana in 1997. The song was performed as they were carrying her casket out of Westminster Abbey. The sound of the pallbearers footsteps adds quite an effect to the overall performance which is rather stunning on its own.
In a word: chills.
